The White Muse began in 2018, when founder Aanya Sharma — a lover of Victorian design and trained architect — noticed that Canada's furniture market lacked pieces with genuine soul. Everything was fast, flat, and forgettable.
She returned to her roots in Rajasthan and found exactly what she was looking for: 200-year-old workshops with master craftspeople who still carved by hand, who still applied gold leaf with horse-hair brushes.
